The Logitech G603 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse uses Logitech's own next-generation Hero optical sensor with resolution ranging from 200 to 12,000 DPI. The mouse has a right-hand design with six programmable buttons, including the on-the-fly DPI shifting through up to 5 sensitivity settings.
According to Logitech, the G603 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse has room for two AA batteries, but can actually work with just one, thus allowing users to set weight and balance. The G603 measures at 124x68x43mm (HxWxD) and weighs between 112.3g with a single AA battery and 135.7g with two AA batteries.
It delivers up to 500 hours on 2 AA batteries, which is twice as long as the previous generation and also has a Hi and Lo switch at the bottom which offers either 1ms report time and 500 hours battery life or 8ms report time and 18 months of battery life, depending on the preference.
In addition to the new Lightspeed-enabled gaming mouse and keyboard, Logitech also unveiled the new G840 XL gaming mouse pad. With dimensions set at 400x900x3mm (HxWxD), the G840 XL gaming mouse pad is actually large enough to accommodate both the keyboard and the mouse, allowing users set it firmly on the desk with its rubber base.
