The EK-XTOP Dual D5 PWM Serial is a 4th generation high-performance aftermarket DUAL pump top for D5 type liquid cooling pumps. It comes pre-installed with two EK-D5 PWM liquid cooling pumps operating in series. By using two liquid cooling pumps, the EK-XTOP Dual D5 PWM Serial provides twice the pressure compared to the single liquid cooling pump and guarantees a safety measure where if the one pump fails, the other provides sufficient liquid flow to prevent any hardware damage due to overheating.

The new EK-XTOP Dual D5 PWM Serial provides PWM control for automatic pump speed regulation depending on the CPU temperature and provides both full performance on demand as well as whisper quiet operation in idle mode, according to EKWB.

The main body of the pump is placed between two special rubber shock absorbers, which separate the pump body from mounting clip reducing transfer of vibration, and is based on a fully rounded design, which allows installation at any angle within 360° of rotation. The unit can be installed on a 120/140mm fan mounting place with provided mounting plates.

The main body comes with three G1/4 threaded ports while the top part of the pump is made from POM Acetal material th CNC machined aluminum tightening nuts.

EK Water Blocks is also preparing the new EK-RES X3 Lite cylindrical reservoir which can be directly attached to the inlet port on the new EK-XTOP Revo Dual D5 PWM Serial pump setup without the need for any additional adapters.
