Smoothcreations has announced a new model that will be available in its netbook line-up, the Wedge. Unlike the previously announced 8.9-inch Slice model, the Wedge will feature a 10-inch LCD screen, most likely with 1,024x600 resolution.

Just as the Slice, the Wedge will also feature Intel's single-core Atom CPU clocked at 1.6GHz. Other specifications include 1GB of GSkill memory and a hard drive with 120GB of storage space. Just as all the Smoothcreations "creations," this one is also custom painted and serialized.

This unique netbook should sell at a bit over US$500, or as Smoothcreations' press release states, it should align itself along the same price as some competitors. The new Smoothcreation netbooks should be available soon enough at NCIX, Microcenter & Walmart and, of course, at Smoothcreations' Web site.
