Finally on April 2nd we will find out what Amazon is really going to do as far as a console or streaming devices goes. The speculation will end and we believe that they will introduce a dongle that is able to handle both streaming and gaming all-in-one.

While the invite that is being sent out says simply that they will be focusing on “updates to their video business”, with everything we have heard and see from leaks we believe than the introduction of an Android powered device for streaming and gaming is what the company has planned.

Amazon wants to drive more into the original content space where the company believes the real money is. The company believes that they need their own platform to do this rather than just a client on other company’s devices.
