Blaine Bublitz from the coding company IcedDev, used a JavaScript code to turn Google Glass into a basic control system for a quadcopter drone, thus allowing him to control the device by moving his head. He showed off his video on YouTube but it does provide a proof of concept for a method that a drone strike can be co-ordinated by a person on the ground.
Drone strikes are getting pretty precise, but if they were co-ordinated by a spotter on the ground they could deliver their payloads with considerably more accuracy. Needless to say this sort of demo is not something that Google had in mind… particularly as it could be used to spy though your neighbours’ curtains.
