EVGA has announced the SuperNova 1000 G2 power supply unit that offers 1000W of continuous power, exceptional power efficiency and modular design.
The new EVGA SuperNova 1000 G2 features a single +12V rail design, modular connections and has 80 Plus Gold rating with up to 90 percent efficiency under typical load, The single +12V rail is capable of delivering up to 83.3A and the new PSU uses vertical double layer main transformer that increases power output as well as high quality Japanese solid state capacitors.
The PSU is cooled by a single bottom placed 14cm quiet fan. Since it is a fully modular PSU design, the new EVGA SuperNova 1000 G2 features one 24-pin ATX, two 4+4-pin EPS12V, a total of six 6+2-pin PCI-E and two 6-pin PCI-E plugs as well as ten SATA, five Molex and one floppy plug.
The PSU is backed by no less than 10 years of warranty and is currently available at EVGA's EU and the US store for €199.90 and US $199.99.
