During its Ventures Glass Collective event, Google announced that its US $1,500 Explorer Edition of Glass for developers will be shipping to lucky buyers within month and should be in their hands before Google I/O, scheduled for May 15.

It is quite certain that a big part of the event will be about Google Glass project and we are quite sure that once it arrives in the hands of eager developers will see and hear much more about it.

It is not clear on how many pieces Google actually been able to meant but best guess is that those developers that signed up for the Explorer Edition at the last year Google I/O will be the first ones to get it while others, including winners of the Glass social media contest will have wait for a while.

In any case, it will certainly be an interesting Google I/O show this year.
