Microsoft has announced that it will be giving away Kinect Party from December 18th till the end of the year. Kinect Party, which was developed by Double Fine, is the follow up to Happy Action Theatre.

Kinect Party could be a big hit since it will be a free download. Kinect Party offers a number of activities that include becoming a Karate master, destroying a castle that you built, and cloning yourself using Kinect. Happy Action Theatre is one of the more successful examples of the possibilities that can be created with Kinect.

Those who also happen to own Happy Action Theatre will be able to play the included 18 mini games from within Kinect Party. The game will return to its regular price for purchase and download after December 31st.
