This news means that you will not lose your digital purchases and you can keep playing them on your new Wii U console. These titles in many cases use the Wii Remote and Nun chuck and those, of course, are compatible with the Wii U console, but are not included.

No word on how it will work, but more details soon
One spot of very good news for Wii owners is that you will apparently be able to import your WiiWare and Virtual Console titles into the Wii U. While details are a little thin, Nintendo says that more information will be coming soon.
