Foxconn gearing up to produce Apple smart TV
No word on launch or start of production
A Foxconn exec claims the manufacturing giant is preparing to start producing Apple’s new smart TV, but the new i-gadget still seems a long way off.
According to China Daily, Foxconn boss Terry Guo said the outfit is preparing its facilities to start churning out the new TVs. However, development of the TV has yet to begin.
Apple’s iTV is said to feature Siri and FaceTime support and it should be crafted out of aluminium. So, we still do not now the launch timeframe and analysts put the launch anywhere between late-2012 to mid-2013.
