Twelve months have come and gone since the ThinkPad X120e took the stage as the most adopted ultraportable of 2011, and now it's time for Lenovo to introduce its successor, the ThinkPad X130e.
The ultraportable sports an 11.6-inch LED-backlit display with a 1366 x 768 resolution, your choice of an AMD Fusion APU or 2nd-gen Intel Core i3 Sandy Bridge processor, up to 8GB of DDR3, up to 500GB of HDD storage (or an optional SSD), weighs in at 3.9 pounds and offers up to 8 hours of battery life. More importantly, however, the ThinkPad X130e is MILSPEC-tested for military grade durability, features stronger corners, bezels and hinges than its predecessor and comes with an Active Protection System to protect it against sudden physical drops.
Lenovo ThinkPad x130e configurations begin at $429.99 and can be found here.
