Atari has announced that it will be cutting 20 per cent of its workforce, including 26 per cent of its administration staff.
The move follows the departure of former Atari CEO Bruno Bonnell from all his positions at parent company Infrogrames in April and his replacement by Patrick Leleu.
The redundancy plan was approved at the board of directors meeting on April 10th and will be completed by July.
Atari CEO and President David Pierce said that he expected that the reorganisation will continue to reduce Atari's general and administrative costs.
