Microsoft apparently will, after all, consider new users for the upcoming beta of its fall dashboard release. Microsoft’s own Major Nelson provided the details of the preview program on his blog.

Users who want to be a part of working out the bugs ahead of the general release have to fill out an application. It is expected that, unlike some previous beta dashboard beta tests, users on the new dashboard will be able to play and chat with those still on the old version of the dashboard.
