Archos' upcoming G9 series has finally been priced and it looks like that these fastest Archos tablets might be a bit more expensive then it was previously expected. The new G9 series tablets should hit retail in September, at least those ones with lower specifications.

 

As you know, Archos G9 series will be available in two models, 8-inch G9 80 and the 10-inch G9 101. These two models will be available in wide variety of SKUs. The first ones will probably make do with the 1GHz Tegra 2, while the more interesting ones, with 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4 4460 will probably come sometimes in October or November, just as we wrote here.

Both models will also be available with different storage capacities so you'll be able to choose between 8 and 16GB flash ones or the 250GB Seagate Momentus Thin HDD.

The price is currently listed at Archos site and the 8-inch G9 80 starts at US $299.99 while the 10-inch G9 101 starts at US $369.99. Of course, these are probably the base 1GHz Tegra 2 equipped 8GB versions.
