Software giant Microsoft said that it had no intention of ever using the PS3 hack to make any political capital.
Hacks from IT Portal asked Microsoft why it had been so quiet after the Sony hack. Dennis Durkin, the chief operating officer of the company told them that Microsfot did not wish to see anyone going through as much pain as Sony did. He said that such attacks were very bad for the industry and damaging for everyone.
“So we don't wish that upon anybody and you've seen we've been actually pretty quiet on the subject because we don't want to appear to even be looking to be taking advantage of somebody else's situation like that. That's just not in our DNA," the COO added.
