AMD has announced that it won’t endorse the SYSmark 2012 benchmarks since it does not meet AMD’s expectations.

AMD believes that the benchmark does not deliver clear and reliable measurements, hence it fails to meet its objective. The chipmaker is also withdrawing from BAPCo, an industry consortium set up to create and publish the benchmark.

AMD said it would only endorse benchmarks based on real-world computing models and applications, which provide users with relevant unbiased information, much like Fudzilla.
