Adding yet another member to its portable HDD lineup, Seagate has announced its new GoFlex Slim USB 3.0 drive. Featuring a slimmest case so far, the new portable HDD will also have support for USB 3.0 as well as the HDD that spins at 7200 RPM.
The new GoFlex Slim USB 3.0 drive will be available as a 320GB version for now squeezed inside the 124x78x9mm (LxWxH) case that weighs 280 grams. We must agree that it certainly is the thinnest and sleekest looking portable drive that we've seen so far. The GoFlex Slim drive will be bundled with the Dashboard management tool as well as some sort of backup software.
The GoFlex Slim USB 3.0 is backed by three years of warranty and is priced at US $99.99 while the second, Mac version, should launch in May with a similar pricing.
