Cornell University boffin Dave Arnold has shown off the world’s first 3D printer capable of making, well, food.
CNN paid a visit to Arnold’s lab/kitchen and witnessed the contraption making a cake, but we’re not sure we’d try it. It is just a bit too dehumanizing for our taste. Cakes should be made with love rather than 3D modeling software, especially wedding cakes.
Speaking of which, if perfected the printer could render housewives obsolete. At least in the kitchen.
Check it out.
