Nintendo will release the red 25th anniversary Super Mario Wii console for North America after all. It is slated to arrive November 7th and will include a bundle that offers both the new Super Mario Bros, as well as Wii Sports.

In addition, on November 7th Nintendo will release a Red DSi XL bundle which will include the new Super Mario Bros for DSi and come pre-loaded with Brain Age Express: Match and Photo clock.

There was some confusion whether Nintendo would release the Red edition of the Wii to the North American market space, as news of a Japanese and European release were confirmed some time ago.

It seems that the demand for the Red version of both the Wii and DSi is a bit higher than expected; although Wii sales numbers are a little worse than expected, they are expected by the company to pick up as we close in on the holiday season.
