Canadian users who have wanted to enjoy Netflix will not have much longer to wait, as the company has announced that they will be coming to Canada this fall. From what we are hearing, they are going to start out by offering streaming only to Canadian customers to start with.

It is unclear yet what platforms they will offer streaming on, but it is likely that it will be expanded to support all of Netflix’s current platforms, our sources tell us. Our sources tell us that the company has not set pricing yet or decided whether they will offer physical disc rentals as well; but it is likely that they will at some point after the roll out of streaming access.

This move for Netflix to move beyond the American market and into Canada is actually a very big decision, even though sources tell us that the company has received numerous requests to provide service in Canada.
