Huawei managed to sell 200 million smartphones in 2018 - a massive increase from 103 million in 2015 or just three million in 2010. As of the first half of this year, Huawei is the world’s second biggest smartphone manufacturer overtaking Apple and leaving Samsung in the prime position.

Well over 2,000 people, from all over the world, poured into a conference hall in the Excel conference centre in London yesterday to see and listen to a complete bells and whistles exposition of the virtues of Huawei's latest range of phones the Mate 20 and the Mate20 Pro.

Leica triple rear camera and Kirin 980 SoC

At its event in London, Huawei has officially unveiled its two new flagship smartphones, the Mate 20 and the Mate 20 Pro, both featuring a triple camera, co-engineered with Leica, as well as the new Huawei flagship 7nm Kirin 980 SoC.

Cortex-A76 doing the magic

Huawei is the first company after Apple to mass produce the 7nm smartphone chip and this will be miles apart from the previous Kirin 970. The combination of Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 cores will do the magic.
