Rowhammer not just for DDR3

DDR4 was supposed to be a lot more secure than other DDR3 which was vulnerable to an exploit called Rowhammer.  But it turns out that DDR4 might also be vulnerable afterall.

Made using TSMC's 16nm FinFET Plus

Cadence Design Systems says its DDR4 and LPDDR4 IP using TSMC's 16nm FinFET Plus (16FF+) process have completed TSMC9000 Silicon Assessment.

For Intel X99 platform

While 64GB might sound like an overkill to some, G.Skill has now unveiled its new 128GB DDR4 Ripjaws V memory kit, designed for content creation workstation and meant to be used on an Intel X99 Express chipset platform.

Based on four 16GB modules and tight latency

G.Skill has announced its highest capacity DDR4 memory kit so far, the 64GB DDR4-3200 Trident Z which is based on four 16GB modules and Samsung chips.

128GB DDR4 modules built

Samsung has started mass production of 128GB DDR4 modules built using 'through silicon via' (TSV) technology.

Going up to 4133MHz 

G.Skill has unveiled the latest addition to its DDR4 memory lineup, the new DDR4 Trident Z kits based on ultra high-performance 8GB module clocked as high as 4133MHz.

From 2133MHz to 2800MHz

G.Skill has announced its new Ripjaws DDR4 SO-DIMM kits that will be available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB kits with frequency hitting as high as 2800MHz.

Ranging from 2133MHz to 3000MHz

HyperX, a well known division of Kingston Technology, has announced its newest HyperX Savage DDR4 memory.
