According to the  newest report, the major technological trends to anticipate at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas will include virtual reality (VR) headsets, a bigger lineup of wearable computing devices, and a new generation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) also known to the general public as drones.

In the consumer entertainment industry’s big push to gradually phase out the 1080p Blu-ray disc format and replace it with the upcoming 2160p Ultra HD Blu-ray format, many have come to expect an initial lineup of titles to slowly trickle in just like the days of its predecessor’s big rollout back in November 2006 with the launch of the PlayStation 3.
