Pixel 6 sales up 380 per cent in the US 

Canalys' North American smartphone market report shows that sales of Google's Pixel 6 grew 380 percent year over year, and this quarter, the company is up 230 percent.

$599 and $899 for Google's Tensor SoC phone

Google has now officially announced its new Pixel phones, the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro, both featuring the 5nm Tensor custom SoC focused on AI and ML, new camera systems, and more, all starting at $599 and $899, respectively.

Streaming on October 19

Google has officially set the date for its Pixel Fall Launch event which will stream live on October 19th. The company is expected to officially announce the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro smartphones.

The 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor

It appears that Google won't be just tapping Samsung for Tensor SoC on its upcoming Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones but also for the main camera sensor, as it has been pretty much confirmed that these will use Samsung's 50-megapixel GN1 sensor.
