Qualcomm showed off its new chip, the MSM7201A, powering the Android Mobile Platform. Not much is known about the new product yet, but it supports 3D graphics, various wireless technologies, like WiFi and Bluetooth. The chip is capable to do 3D GUI rendering and it should be energy efficient as well. We saw a mobile browser demo which runs very well while zooming Web pages.
Qualcomm has been working with Google for over a year on their Android Mobile Platform and they said that they will continue their partnership in the future.
