Blast from the past gets more VRAM

ASRock has launched a new version of the Radeon RX 6500 XT that will feature 8GB of VRAM and be a part of its Phantom Gaming lineup.

Although the Radeon RX 6500 XT has been announced with a rather reasonable $199 MSRP, it appears that retailers/e-tailers have a slightly different idea and those could cost €300 in Europe.

Lenovo accidentally listed some specifications and confirming the name of AMD’s upcoming entry-level RX 6500 XT graphics card.

Based on Navi 24 GPU

AMD is preparing to unleash a few new graphics cards in the Radeon RX 6000 series, the RX 6500 XT and the RX 6400. Both should be based on the smallest RNDA2 Navi 24 GPU and launch in Q1 2022.
