Radeon Instinct MI60 and Instinct MI50

At its dedicated The Next Horizon event, AMD has reiterated its total commitment to datacenter market, both with the 7nm EPYC Rome CPU based on the brand new Zen 2 architecture, as well as with its new 7nm Vega-based Radeon Instinct graphics cards, promising significant improvements in the enterprise accelerator market.

During its Q1 2018 financial conference call yesterday, AMD's CEO, Dr. Lisa Su, confirmed that 7nm is on track and that 7nm Radeon Instinct is running in its labs.

That is the Vega 7nm

Many of our colleagues were excited to see the confirmation of the existence of the chip called Vega 20. This is what AMD introduced back in January as the Vega 7nm, and it is a compute chip.  

For Machine and Deep Learning

During its EPYC launch event yesterday, AMD  unveiled a full range of Radeon Instinct accelerators meant for both deep and machine learning, including the MI25 deep learning accelerator, based on Vega GPU and MI8 and MI6 machine learning accelerators, based on Fiji and Polaris GPUs.
