AMD has been working on optimizing memory performance on its AM4 platform and it appears it has been doing a good job as, thanks to an overclocker from Australia, DDR4 managed to finally break the 4,000 limit with Gigabyte X370 motherboard, Ryzen 5 1400 CPU and G.Skill's 8GB Trident Z DDR4 memory module.
