Nvidia working on new Geforce RTX 3050 A Laptop graphics card
To be powered by Ada Lovelace AD106 GPU
A rather interesting new graphics card has been spotted in Nvidia's latest driver release and PCI ID database. Called the Geforce RTX 3050 A Laptop, the new graphics card will be powred by the AD106 GPU, packing more CUDA cores compared to the current lineup.

Around 20 percent slower than the 8GB version
Nvidia has officially launched the new Geforce RTX 3050 6GB graphics card. While it might sound the same as the RTX 3050 8GB launched back in January 2022, this is a completely different graphics card, based on a different chip, coming with 2GB less VRAM, and being around 20 percent slower, all for $179.

It appears that Nvidia could be working on an RTX 3050 with GA107 GPU, which will retain the same specifications but have a lower TDP.

Nvidia has officially announced a couple of new mobile Geforce RTX series graphics cards, the Geforce RTX 3050 Ti Mobile and the Geforce RTX 3050 Mobile. These two should go well with Intel's newest Tiger Lake-H mobile CPUs and some of the laptop makers have already started to pair them up.
