Laptop class performance in 2019

Before we even start, we want to make clear that Cortex A76 - the successor of the flagship A75 today - is targeting both phones and laptops with a big focus and four times improvement in ML and AI performance.

During its Q1 2018 financial conference call yesterday, AMD's CEO, Dr. Lisa Su, confirmed that 7nm is on track and that 7nm Radeon Instinct is running in its labs.

Will be finished this year

3GPP has locked the 5G standard and Qualcomm’s first 5G modem, called the X50, will enter production in the latter part of the year. It is a 10nm chip that goes arm in arm with Snapdragon 855.

RX580 successor
