Americans don?t mind spending on games
Sales numbers rose 34 percent
Even though the American economy is not at its best now, when it comes to the game market, business is blossoming. NPD Group published numbers for February, and they don’t show any sign of financial crisis.
Namely, last month traffic was $1.33 billion (around 860 million euro), which is 34 percent more than in January. A 12 percent rise compared to February last year, confirms that America is gaming.
Consoles, which are selling great in America, are to blame for this success. The current leader is PlayStation 3, followed by Microsoft's Xbox, with even lower prices now, so the battle for March continues.
