The new Mi Note 2 is a flagship, but it’s not the priciest phone in Xiaomi’s range – that distinction goes to the bezel-less Mi Mix. At that time, Qualcomm didn't want to officially talk about the insides of the Snapdragon 835, but a leaked roadmap claims that the new SoC has 4+4 cores based on updated Kryo 200 architecture.
