MSI has showcased its G45-based motherboard; and after skipping a not so popular G35 sort-of DirectX 10 solution, they just announced their G45 board called G45 Platinum.
The board has second generation DrMos and it can rely on Green power and comes with Circu-pipe 2 passive chipset cooler, DDR2 1200 memory and a single PCIe 16X slot.
The chipset supports Intel's HD video and can play HD content and it is supposed to have DirectX 10 drivers from the launch. The board itself has Core 2 Duo / Quad-support, three PCI and two PCIe 1X slots, as well as VGA,HDMI, eSATA, SPDIF two times PS2, 5.1 analog sound LAN and only two USBs on the back panel.
It should be available later in June or July.
