Nvision 2008: At least not now and not X86

We've just confirmed that Nvidia won’t do an X86 CPU, at least not in the short term. This was one of the wildest rumors that we’ve heard in the past few months, and as we expected, it turned out to be a false one.

Nvidia is happy with graphics and they want to go down the CUDA road and make people aware of GPU computing. Nvidia has to make people care about CUDA and this is where the company focus is now.

As for the graphics, rasterisation is the way to go, and Phyiscs is something that will get to games. Nvidia will play with Raytracing, but this is something way into the future, at least the mainstream in game raytracing.
