We asked a few people from AMD about Deneb, 45nm quad-core that is supposed to launch in Q4 2008. AMD chaps refused to comment, implying that they are not ready to show this product to the public eye.

We were told before that the server part is the first to launch and who knows, a CPU called Shanghai might actually launch in Shanghai. This did happen with Barcelona.

AMD got a lot of attention with its graphics card and Acer Predator systems, but everyone asks and expects the 45nm higher clocked Phenoms. The launch date remains to be seen, but we can only hope it's before November.
