Since we’ve
seen performance range DirectX 11 hardware up and running, it won’t surprise
you that ATI plans to launch this product in late September time.
This will
occur in the last days of Q3 2009, while significant shipments and cards
in volume should come in Q4 2009. Nvidia won’t have its “GT300” card before
late Q4 2009, probably November time, but there is a strong feeling that Nvidia
might end up faster.
For the
time being, ATI is the first with DirectX 11 hardware and we’ve seen it up and
running and at Quakeconn ATI showed even more DirectX 11 technology demos, but
it didn’t want to show the card itself.
