Logitech CEO quits

Company has troubles

Mouse-maker Logitech is looking for a new CEO after Bracken Darrell resigned.

Logitech has been having a tough time with its bottom line lately as people return to schools and offices. However, Darrell is apparently leaving the company in good standing to “pursue some new opportunity” and will be hanging around for another month to help with the transition.

As part of their succession planning process, Logitech has appointed board member Guy Gecht as the interim CEO while they conduct a global search for potential candidates from both within and outside the company.

Gecht has been a non-executive member of Logitech's board since September 2019. Prior to taking on the interim CEO role, Gecht served on Logitech's Audit Committee and chaired the Technology and Innovation Committee.
