Apple iPad Mini 2 in the works

Written by Nick Farrell

Should be out after the iPad 5

The dark satanic rumour mill has manufactured a hell on earth yarn that Apple is about to release another iPad Mini 2.

The source of the rumour is Digitimes which has been getting a little spacy with its stories of late, but it is possible. It is claimed that the fifth-generation 9.7-inch iPad will have a slimmed-down bezel design which will provide more screen space. Battery life will allegedly improve, and the device will drop from two LED tubes to one.

Digitimes claims that the rumour comes from sources within the upstream supply chain have indicated that the device is currently in pilot production. Job’s Mob is expected to give shipment estimates at the end of July or early August.

Apple is still undecided about some aspects of the iPad Mini 2. It could introduce a Retina display, while Apple is thought to be keen for a bezel-less design.
