Codemasters will be bringing not one, but two different titles to market in the Dirt franchise. The first, of course, is Dirt 4; it will focus on the traditional Dirt for activities surrounding rally car racing, delivering a traditional and more authentic experience.
The second title will be a new spin-off of the Dirt franchise that will be called Dirt Showdown. Showdown will take the experiences that have outgrown the traditional Dirt game, such as the gymkhana, and hardcore thrill-seeking racing experiences.
Both Dirt 4 and Dirt Showdown are slated for release in 2012. Specifics as to when they will be released are still a bit up in the air, but you can expect both titles for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC.
