Life's too short

supremo Eric Schmidt has told students at the University of Pennsylvania that
the secret to success is to get away from the computer and enjoy
life. Schmidt told about 6,000 graduates that they need to find out what is
most important to them by living analogue for a while.
He said that it was
important to turn off their phone and discover all that is human around us,"
Schmidt said. "Nothing beats holding the hand of your grandchild as he walks his
first steps."
Schmidt, who holds a doctorate from the University of
California at Berkeley, also received an honorary doctor of science degree at
the ceremony. He also urged graduates not to lay out a rigid path for
themselves. Rewards will gravitate to those who make mistakes and learn from
them, Schmidt said.
Schmidt has a point. He also has a very nice wife who is
worth switching off the computer for and has been linked to many other nice
women who would also take him away from his monitor. Life is for living
apparently.
