One for gamers and overclockers

Colorful has officially unveiled its latest motherboard based on Intel's Z370 chipset and with support for Intel's 8th generation Coffee Lake CPUs, the iGame Z370 Vulcan X.

Based on a standard ATX form-factor and packing a 14-phase VRM with Colorful's own IPP technology, which features Sanyo tantalum capacitors and should bring reduced ripple and lower operating temperature, the new Colorful iGame Z370 Vulcan X motherboard certainly aims for the high-end market.

Colorful has somewhat changed the design of its iGame lineup by using the new black and gray new color theme with metal texture as well as adding full RGB lighting with GamerVoice 2.0 feature which includes light effect interaction and smart temperature-based lighting.

The rest of the features are pretty standard for a Z370-based motherboard, including three PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots and three PCI-Express x1 slots, two M.2 slots, support for Intel Optane memory, six SATA 6Gbps ports, Killer E2500 Gbit LAN, Realtek ALC1150 7.1-channel audio and more.

As it is also aimed at overclockers, it also comes with on-board buttons and a 3-digit LED debug display monitor, which can display motherboard temperature, voltage, and other system readouts.

It also includes Fintek F75503 and Fintek F75501 chips for low-latency USB peripherals, which has been seen on some earlier Colorful motherboards and was quite praised.

Unfortunately, the motherboard is only available in South Korea so there is no word on when it will come to the US or Europe and there is also no information regarding the price.
