Has a roadmap and a tank full of gas

Samsung Electronics has decided on a roadmap for Galaxy Note 8 sales which apparently does not involve fire.

While the preorder dates will be shorter than that of Galaxy S8, duration of pre-activation dates will be longer than that of Galaxy S8. We will spot all this when the Galaxy Note 8 hits stores on the 15 September, or the 23 September if you are in New York.

Samsung Electronics and three South Korean mobile network providers are going to hold events at ever Samsung Digital Plazas in South Korea and mobile network providers’ retail stores between the 25 -31 August so that people can experience Galaxy Note 8 before hand.

Preorders will start on 1-10 September. At 9am on the 11 three South Korean mobile network providers are going to have events for activating Galaxy Note 8s at their designated retail stores.

Galaxy Note 8s that are pre-ordered in an order for four days from the 11-14 will start to be activated. The duration of reorder dates is one day shorter than that of Galaxy S8, duration of pre-activation dates is one day longer.

Samsung wants to minimise any inconvenience for customers by preparing for any delay in activation that may occur due to discrepancies in supply and demand of models with particular colours.

The official release date of Galaxy Note 8 is the 15 September.
