Iphone 7 is harder to bend

Have to work out a better way of destroying it

The world is full of those who within seconds of buying an iPhone want to destroy it – which is probably fair enough.

YouTube channel JerryRigEverything revealed its durability test of the new iPhone 7 where it manages to bend the phone by brute force. It looks like the iPhone 7 is a lot harder to bend than the iPhone 6 which slowly formed in the shape of your arse if you put it in your back pocket and sat on it.This created the infamous "bendgate" controversy for Apple where kids would go into iPhone stores to bend the phones.

With the iPhone 7, it is still possible but it requires a lot more strength. In the scratch tests the iPhone 7 looks like it could manage a pair of keys in your pocket thanks to an anodizing process. You can do a lot of damage with sharper objects like scissors and our weapon of choice  –  a chainsaw.

The YouTube channel also claims there's no sapphire lens cover on the iPhone 7 rear camera which makes it vulnerable to scratching.

Personally we find it more satisfying to run over it with a steamroller, preferably while it is still in the back pocket of the owner.
