Moto G4 Plus to get Android O

by on24 May 2016

That one comes in 2017 after Android 7.0

A nice picture of a flyer for the Moto G4 Plus has hinted that the Moto G4 might have the support for two new Android OS’, the Android N that comes this fall and Android O that comes in late 2017.

Moto is now owned by Lenovo, who picked the company up from Google, and it seems that Lenovo plans to stick with the Moto Pure experience. You might notice that there is no mentioning of Motorola, it is Moto these days, and this will continue in the future.

The pure experience promises quick updates and close to reference Android experience without much skin on top of it. At the same time, it means that these updates happen much faster on these "pure experience phones" compared with other companies who are doing a lot customization on top of Android.

Moto G4 Plus is a 5.5 inch device with a Full HD 1920x1080 screen, 2GB / 3GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB storage. It comes with a Snapdragon 617, an octa core processor powered by eight A53 cores and it has a 3,000 mAh battery as well as Android 6.0.1 out of the box.

Moto G4 is expected to be a 5-inch phone and we expect to see them both launching rather soon. The picture above was leaked by one of the famous phone learkers, the Evan Blass, @evleaks, and the chap has a rather good track record.
