Although Samsung might announce its newest flagship Galaxy S7 smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2016 (MWC 2016) next month, it appears that it won't go on sale until March 11th, at least in the US.

According to Evan Blass, more known as @evleaks, which is usually spot on when it comes to leaks on upcoming smartphone launches, the Galaxy S7 should be available in the US on March 11th. Of course, as all rumors so far, you should take this one, posted at Evan's Twitter, with a pinch of salt.

Samsung is expected to unveil both the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge at a February 21st event just a day before Mobile World Congress 2016 opens its doors.

Earlier rumors sugest that the Galaxy S7 will feature a 5.1-inch screen while the Galaxy S7 Edge will have a 5.5-inch screen. Samsung will also make two versions of each smartphone, based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 and its own Exynos 8 Octa SoC.

Mobile World Congress 2016 will bring plenty of new flagship smartphones and as every year, it will be quite an interesting event.
