This has been the case since 2009, when Apple introduced iPhone 3GS or a faster version of iPhone 3G. This is the one that was capable to record video and it was basically a faster version of the iPhone 3G with a faster processor.

This is exactly what to expect from iPhone 6S. It will have slightly better camera, it will have a near-identical aluminum case, but of course the internals will be upgraded and changed. The chaps from 9to5mac have got a pictures of the case and they were able to read a few info from it.

The iPhone 6S should have the same with and thickness and the phone won't come with a dual lens camera as some suggested. There are three holes one for camera, microphone and LED flash, that's it. The antenna cut-outs are still present on the phone despite the fact that Apple applied a patent that can create a phone body without a visible antenna lines. This will probably come with some new iPhone, let's call it iPhone 7, and let's assume that it will come in September 2016.

Apple has the same connectors, speaker and microphone at the bottom. One of the big things expected from iPhone 6s is the force touch screen that will offer some additional features in case you press harder. Apple Watch Apple’s Retina MacBook Pros and 12-inch MacBooks already have this feature and it is now time for the iPhone too.
