While everyone is talking about the Geforce GTX 1070 Ti, Asus has released a limited special edition of the ROG Strix GTX 1080 Ti called the Assassin's Creed Origins Edition, which comes with a custom cooler shroud, factory overclock and is, of course, bundled with the Assassin's Creed: Origins game.

Available since October 27th, Assassin's Creed: Origins is Ubisoft's tenth installment in the Assassin's Creed Syndicate and is now set in Ancient Egypt. In order to properly celebrate the launch of what is called the best Assassin's Creed since the Black Flag, Asus has obviously teamed up with Ubisoft for a special, and highly-limited, edition of the ROG Strix GTX 1080 Ti.

Although mostly identical to the already available Asus ROG Strix GTX 1080 Ti OC, the new Assassin's Creed Origins Edition version will feature a custom copper colored shroud paired up with a custom backplate with hieroglyphs as well as ROG and Assassin's Creed insignia.

In case you are wondering, it still features the same GPU base and Boost clocks of 1569/1683MHz in Gaming mode and 1594/1708MHz in OC mode while 11GB of GDDR5X memory on a 352-bit memory interface works at 11010MHz in Gaming and 11100MHz in GPU Boost mode.

According to Asus' product page, there will only be 500 of these graphics cards and it will be bundled with Assassin's Creed: Origins UPlay key.

Unfortunately, Asus did not reveal any details on the availability or the price but we expect a slight price premium compared to the standard ROG Strix GTX 1080 Ti OC version.
