Nvidia GP107 GPU pictured on GTX 1050 Ti

Small GP107 GPU rumored to be made by Samsung

After the performance leak, it was only a matter of time before someone took a picture of either the GTX 1050 or GTX 1050 Ti. Earlier this week, a set GTX 1050 Ti PCB pictures revealed a smaller GP107 GPU, which also added fuel to recent rumors that it might be the first GPU made on Samsung's 14nm manufacturing process.

Spotted by Videocardz.com, the GP107 GPU was pictured on a bare GTX 1050 Ti PCB and it is quite smaller than the GP106 GPU. The small size as well as earlier details that it should end up with a 75W TDP, sparked the rumors that the GP107 GPU could be actually made on Samsung's 14nm manufacturing process, a result of an earlier deal between Nvidia and Samsung.

The rest of the GTX 1050 Ti pictures do not reveal much other than it will have 4GB of GDDR5 memory. The pictured graphics card also comes with a single 6-pin PCIe power connector, which will probably be common as its partners will need additional power for both factory-overclock as well as further overclocking potential but the TDP of the fully-enabled GP107 should be 75W.

In case you missed it, the earlier details suggested that the GTX 1050 Ti will be based on a fully-enabled GP107 GPU with 768 CUDA cores, 48 TMUs and 32 ROPs and come with 4GB of GDDR5 memory on a 128-bit memory interface. The GTX 1050 will come somewhat later and be based on a cut-down version of the GP107 GPU and pack 640 CUDA cores, 40 TMUs, 32 ROPs as well as 2GB of GDDR5 memory with the same 128-bit memory interface.

The GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1050 are both expected to launch sometime this month.
