AMD also rolls out new Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.6.1 drivers

Mirror's Edge Catalyst support and couple of fixes

Following the launch of EA's new Mirror's Edge Catalyst game, AMD has released its newest Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.6.1 drivers, which, in addition to optimizations for a couple of games, also bring a couple of bug fixes.

Mainly released in order to bring all the game specific optimizations for EA's Mirror's Edge Catalyst game and Epic Games' Paragon, the new Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.6.1 drivers also bring a new AMD Crossfire profile for Dark Souls III game as well as fixes a couple of issues

The list of fixed issues include flickering and corruption issues seen when when playing videos in a web browser or using Oculus Rift, performance issues in DiRT Rally game, fixed Crossfire issues for Origin and uPlay applications as well as some issues seen when playing Fallout 4 in Crossfire. 

The new AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.6.1 drivers are available for Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions and can be found over at AMD's drivers support page
