Samsung shows off mobile charging monitor

Samsung released what it calls the first monitor which will charge your mobile while you are using it.

The SE370 is being billed as the world's first monitor with an integrated wireless charging role for mobile devices.

It comes in 23.6 inches and 27 inches and it works with all mobile devices that use the leading Qi wireless charging standard, which was developed by the Wireless Power Consortium.

The SE370 monitor has the multiple charging ports found in other displays with a circular wireless charging area integrated in the monitor's stand.

Users simply place their device on the stand's charging area to start automatic charging, which is confirmed by an LED light.

The rest of the spec is about what you would expect from a Samsung monitor. It has 1920×1080 resolution, response time of 4ms, contrast ratio of 1000:1 and an HDMI(1.4), DP(1.2) 1 D-Sub interface.

Other features include Eco Saving Plus, Magic Bright, Magic Upscale, Game Mode, Eye Saver Mode, Flicker Free, FreeSync, Image Size.
